I’m a Virginia native turned rural North Carolinian, romantic suspense author, wife, and mama. My love of writing started where you might expect-with a childhood spent getting lost in books. These days, I prefer to be the one behind the keyboard. I love to create characters who feel like real people—those shaped by their histories, their relationships, their mistakes, and their faith. In my books, you will find strong women, complicated heroes, plenty of chemistry, a little dry humor, and enough danger to keep everyone thoroughly inconvenienced.
When I’m not making decidedly un-cozy things happen to fictional people, I’m usually doing something considerably cozier: cooking, gardening, reading, spending time with my large extended family, or just tending to every day life in the country with my husband, our boys, and our growing menagerie of farm animals.
